Main Purpose of the Job
To manage the engineering implementation team, which has to technically define, quantify and solve Booyco engineering integration design problems; To manage the drafting of technical specifications, standards and technical supporting documentation; To manage the processes for BOMs, NPG’s, CM’s and supporting technical documentation; To manage the assistance to the research and development team; To manage the assistance the product support team; To manage the assistance to the production and repair teams.Education, experience and competencies

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering (Masters – advantage)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
• Management experience (advantage)
• Syspro experience (advantage)
• Advanced technical product knowledge.
• Valid Driver’s Licence

Responsibilities:

• Manage the engineering product integration and improvement team, which must technically define, quantify and solve Booyco engineering design problems
• Technically defining, quantifying and solving engineering integration design problems
• Drafting specifications, standards and technical supporting documentation
• Testing and verifying new hardware and software specifications
• Verifying supporting technical documentation
• Manage the drafting of technical specifications, standards and technical supporting documentation
• Manage the processes for BOMs, NPG’s, CM’s and supporting technical documentation
• Manage the assistance to the research and development, product support, production and repairs teams
• Review daily performance of drafting team.
• Review the performance of the NPG, CM & BOM Controller, Electronic Technologists, Electronic Technicians and the software team
• Attend meetings as required by this profile.
• Maintain the Booyco Standards.
• Maintain feedback data and information as required for MANCO feedback.
• Monthly Task Provide MANCO feedback to GM Engineering on monthly performance vs targets by the specified dates.
• Perform any reasonable adhoc tasks and duties required by management.
• Ensure the Production and Product Support Teams are supplied with all reports, technical documentation, drawings and other data as required.
• Responsible for all NPG’s, BOMS and CM.s
• Responsible for all technical aspects for Product Integration & Improvement
• Weekly and Monthly performance reports
• Ensure product “family trees” are maintained.
• Ensure drawings are reviewed and up to date.
• Ensure the NPG and CM Trackers are up to date.
• Ensure the Engineering Department Stock is controlled.
• Reading and interpreting panel wiring diagrams and set layouts

Main Purpose of the Job

To assist Electronic technologists with technical documentation, Non-conformances, fault finding, first builds, train production personnel on new products. Active link between production technicians and Engineering. To provide daily technical support to production and repairs.

Education, experience and competencies

• Dip Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years Technical experience.
• Knowledge of ISO9001; FMEA Documentation; document editing.
• Basic programming language experience will be advantageous.
• Basic PCB design experience will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve Non-conformances in engineering.
• Assist with first build as per requirement
• Develop technical scope of work documents.
• Update scope of work documents as development project progresses.
• Carry out verification testing in line with scope of work in the development process.

Main Purpose of the Job

• BSc Engineering or equivalent Electronic Engineering degree.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in supervisory role
• Experience in the manufacturing and/or mining industry (advantage)
• Experience in design, layout and assembly of PCB’s
• Experience in software development (advantage)

• Design according to specifications given – Looms, cables, PCBs or complete product
• Review and update technical documentation as per ISO standards

Main Purpose of the Job

Data analysis to create insights and advocate improvements on Booyco software. To provide systems and engineering support to all sites, branches and customers. To serve as second-line support for the Software technicians on technical issues relating to Booyco software, firmware and applications.

Education, experience and competencies

• Matric and Diploma/Degree related to the I.T field
• Minimum 1-2 years data analysis within the mining Sector.
• Knowledge on data analytics, Internet and Intranet.
• Knowledge of WEB based, and Cloud based servers
• Knowledge of SQL and databases.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and document clients’ requirements.
• Solution Evaluation: Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements.

• Mining Reports & Vehicle Interaction Analysis
• Generate and analyse reports related to the mining environment.
• Generate monthly Manco report.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations for real-time monitoring.
• Compile reports on incidents that occur within the mining site, including vehicle incidents, near-misses, and safety violations.
• Investigate root causes of incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct training sessions for users on how to navigate and interpret data on BEAMS.
• Develop training materials, including manuals, guides, and presentations.
• Provide ongoing support and refresher training as needed.
• Gather feedback from users to enhance training effectiveness.
• Investigate and escalate any issues related to BEAMS functionality to lead software specialist.
• Act as the second point of contact for troubleshooting and technical support.
• Work with developers to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain documentation of reported issues and solutions.
• Network and IT Infrastructure
• Acting as the Key Liaison Between Booyco Electronic and Client I.T
• Communicate project requirements on Booyco Electronics system functionalities to the customer.
• Provide updates to mine IT on project progress, challenges, and risks.
• Coordinate system testing, troubleshooting, and deployment schedules.
• Communicate with Mine IT regarding network hardware (e.g., switches, routers, access points).
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues.
• Generate reports for SQL databases and BEAMS.
• Data analytics on Booyco software and reports
• Advocate improvements on Booyco software
• Software SQL and Database troubleshooting.
• Train Booyco users and client staff on using Booyco software
• Document all product related test result, technical issues found and recommendation to resolution of issues and improve product offering.
• Ensure accurate and timeous completion of administration

• Adhere to all company policies, rules and regulations in all activities
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
