Job Responsibilities

🔹 Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver parcels efficiently.
🔹 Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a timely and professional manner.
🔹 Verify delivery details, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
🔹 Maintain excellent customer service and represent The Courier Guy professionally.
🔹 Plan and manage optimal delivery routes for efficiency.
🔹 Ensure all deliveries are signed for and recorded properly.
🔹 Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
🔹 Work closely with dispatchers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

✔ Valid South African driver’s license (Code A, B, C, or EC preferred)
✔ Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience (courier experience is an advantage!)
✔ Clean driving record with no criminal history
✔ Ability to lift and carry packages up to 20kg
✔ Familiarity with GPS navigation and local road networks
✔ Excellent time management and reliability
✔ Strong communication and customer service skills
✔ Ability to work independently and under pressure
✔ Matric certificate or equivalent qualification preferred

Preferred Experience

📦 Previous work experience in logistics, courier, or transportation industries.
📦 Experience handling cash-on-delivery (COD) transactions.
📦 Knowledge of road safety laws and transport regulations.
📦 Familiarity with major delivery routes across South Africa.
