Second Invitation to Apply for the SIOC-CDT Bursary Fund.

Important Information: Location: Ga-Segonyana, Joe Morolong, Tsantsabane, and surrounding communities.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must reside in or originate from SIOC-CDT beneficiary communities.
  • Age of applicant must not exceed 35 years as of the application deadline.
  • Must be accepted or provisionally accepted at a public higher education institution for the 2025 academic year.
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial need to fund their undergraduate or postgraduate studies (with preference given to undergraduates).
  • The combined household annual income should not exceed R600,000.00.
  • Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

  • Information Technology
  • Tourism
  • Health & Clinical Sciences
  • Business Management & Economics
  • Law (e.g., Bachelor of Laws – LLB)

Bursary Fund Coverage: The fund will cover:

  • Registration and tuition fees
  • Accommodation
  • Prescribed study materials
  • Laptop
  • Monthly stipend
  • Assistive devices for those with disabilities to enhance learning.

  • A certified copy of your South African ID
  • Recent academic results (including the latest results if currently enrolled)
  • Proof of disability (if applicable)
  • A recent 3-month bank statement reflecting income.
