The Cash Office Clerk will play a pivotal role in the administration of the store’s front-end and cash office department. The purpose of the purpose of the Cash Office Clerk is to ensure accurate daily reconciliation of all store monetary controls and promptly report any discrepancies in accordance with company procedures.

 

• Issue working floats for the tills daily.
• Balance each cashier’s float to sales daily from Cashier report.
• Balance and bank lotto money daily.
• Control cash floats and change required.
• Process and follow up claims.
• Relieve front end supervisors during lunch breaks.
• Adhere to the safety protocol of cash office.
• Always Keep the Cash Office neat and tidy.
• Follow store procedures for using the instore safe.
• Bank store daily takings.
• Balance banking to daily sales.
• Record banking balances to daily sales.
