Job Description
The Oppenheimer Memorial Trust is thrilled to announce limited scholarships and sabbatical grants designed to support exceptional individuals pursuing postgraduate studies and advancing their academic research.
These awards are specifically aimed at full-time academics in South Africa.
Scholarships:
- Eligibility: For individuals aiming to lead in their fields, intending to shape their academic, research, or development careers.
- Preference: Candidates studying at South African universities will be prioritized.
- Consideration: Exceptional applicants pursuing disciplines unavailable locally or seeking advanced international tuition from globally recognized leaders may also be considered.
Sabbatical Grants:
- Eligibility: Available to full-time academics at public South African higher education institutions.
- Focus Areas: Grants will support furthering current research, exploring new ideas, or enhancing teaching capabilities.
- Priority: Innovative research relevant to South Africa with potential for global recognition will be prioritized.
