Job Purpose

To create a unique client experience by attending to inquiries and teller-related transactions, client queries, banking requirements, and the needs of clients and refer cross-sell opportunities while mitigating risk and contributing to branch objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Withdrawals, Deposits and Transfers
  • Bookings in and out of cash from Treasury to Central cash
  • Balancing of ATM and monthly reconciliation
  • Balancing of daily cash management
  • Perform Enquiries duties as required
  • Provide sales leads and enable cross-selling of products by identifying, making suggestions, and referring to the relevant department for action.
  • Responsible for all client account enquiries
  • Customer account records (opening/closing/stop payments/ stop orders/ main file changes)
  • Issuing of account statements and credit cards
  • Issuing and encoding of bank cards
  • Daily balancing of working stock
  • Any other function as assigned by the Branch Manager

Education and Experience Requirements

  • The applicant must have Grade 12 (25 points) and a Diploma in a banking/banking-related field.
  • Must have at least Five (5) years of banking experience as well as Teller experience
  • Applicant will be required to work on Saturdays.
