Job description

Support the IT/ Maintenance department with daily and monthly functions to ensure positive group performance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support IT/ Maintenance Technician for Stores, Distribution Centre, and Head office
• IT /Maintenance admin, maintaining and updating technical documentation
• Installation and configuration of IT equipment
• SQL backups
• VPN monitoring
• Testing software and hardware
• Repairing or replacing faulty equipment
• Store installation services
• Inspecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting systems and equipment
• Compiling Reports of IT / Maintenance work done.
• Follow-ups and QC of work done

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Diploma in IT
• Experience in IT would be advantageous

Competencies:

• Able to work under pressure
• Good Computer skills (must have knowledge of MS office)
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Good verbal communication Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

• Must be between the ages of 18 – 30
• Must have completed their diploma
• Must have copies of the original Diploma & Matric certificate.
• Must be living in Phoenix or the immediate surrounding Areas
• Must not have completed an internship previously

Nice to have:

•  6 months to 1-year experience in I.T.

Job Type & Contract Length:

18-month fixed-term contract (following approval/registration by SETA)

Remuneration:

• Monthly Stipend of R 6000
