Hire Resolve’s client, an engineering consulting company, is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Pretoria or Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration between engineers, designers, and contractors.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Coordinate procurement processes, including vendor selection and materials acquisition.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, addressing concerns and providing regular updates.
• Ensure seamless handover of completed projects and manage after-service support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale engineering projects, preferably within the mining, industrial, or energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of EPCM/EPCS methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with South African regulations and global best practices in construction and engineering.
• PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.
