Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s):

• Grade 12
• 1year relevant security qualification (Certificate in Security Management)
• Private Security Regulation Authority: Registration at B Grade

Experience:

• 5 years security experience

Skills and Competencies

Skills:

• Interpersonal skills – strong persuasion and influencing skills

Knowledge:

• Control operations
• Shift and shift posting report
• Inspection and supervision
• Report writing
• Knowledge of criminal matters and investigations
• Statement taking
• Securing of crime scene

Attributes:

• PSIRA registered Grade B
• National key point security and repair
• Security register

Key Responsibilities

• Organise and supervise the section/shift operational resources
• Performing shift handover
• Supervise the security service provider (Contractors)
• Co-ordinating and controlling activities in the event of an emergency
• Perform Occupational Health and Safety Management
• Conduct initial investigation of Crime
• Continuous Improvement
