Thuthuka Bursary Fund 2026 – For Future Chartered Accountants!
Are you a Grade 12 learner with top marks in Maths and a dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))?
Your future in Accounting is closer than you think! The Thuthuka Bursary Fund, brought to you by SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants), is here to support disadvantaged learners who want to become the next generation of South Africa’s financial leaders.
💡 What is the Thuthuka Bursary Fund?
The Thuthuka Bursary is a fully funded, structured programme that supports students on their journey to becoming Chartered Accountants. It provides not only financial assistance but also academic, emotional, and career support — from first year to qualification.
It’s more than a bursary — it’s a pathway to success.

📍 Who Should Apply?
You may apply if you are:
✔️ A South African citizen and Black African or Coloured learner
✔️ Currently in Grade 12 or recently completed Matric
✔️ Achieving Level 6 or higher in Pure Mathematics (not Maths Literacy)
✔️ Planning to study BCom Accounting (CA-stream) at a SAICA-accredited university
✔️ From a household earning less than R350,000 per year
✔️ Dedicated to becoming a CA(SA)
