• Control overall bakery expenses to make sure the expenses are maintained within the budget.
• Providing awesome customer service to give customers an excellent experience.
• Assist customers to find products that they are looking for.
• Ensuring that goods are correctly priced and displayed.
• To undertake any other relevant duties requested by Management.
• Lead in stock takes and stock counts.
• Ensure promotions are executed timeously and execution is planned.
• Maintain food safety hygiene standards/according to stores policies and procedures.
• To efficiently work at the point of sale and maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise.
• Assist in the prevention of stock shrinkage.
• Keeping the store equipment clean.
• Understand the importance of stock rotation.
• Design and implement cleaning schedule for department and for all equipment and facilities daily.
• Ensure correct chemicals and procedures are used to maintain a sanitized and pest free environment.
• Conduct spot checks to ensure accurate prices are being maintained.
