Do you have a passion for space science, engineering, technology, or Earth observation? The South African National Space Agency (SANSA) is offering bursaries for the 2026 academic year to help South Africa’s brightest minds pursue studies in STEM fields that support the country’s space industry.
🌍 About the SANSA Bursary
The SANSA Bursary Programme is aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students who want to contribute to space innovation, research, and development in South Africa. SANSA is looking for young scientists, engineers, and data specialists who are ready to make a difference — in South Africa, Africa, and beyond.
🎓 Who Can Apply?
📌 You may qualify for a SANSA bursary if you are:
✔️ A South African citizen
✔️ Currently in Grade 12, OR
✔️ Studying at a public South African university in an approved qualification
✔️ Passionate about space science, Earth observation, technology, or data
✔️ Achieving strong academic results
✔️ From a financially disadvantaged background
