Job Description

At Praesignis our client in the Banking Industry is looking for Risk Event Administrators with Digital Forensic Investigation experience to join their team. This is a 6-month contract based in Sandton.

Job Purpose:

  • To register risk events and provide support services to Forensic Investigators; thereby ensuring that risks are recorded; investigated; actioned and reported in terms of the clients Risk Management Policies.

  • Ensure costs are recovered per time allocation and transfer pricing agreements with stakeholders.
  • Manage and prevent potential operational losses.
  • Register risk event on case management system by capturing information within timelines and escalate to management for quality assurance and distribution.
  • Provide administrative support services to stakeholders.
  • Action requirements for authentication of identity documents.
  • ensure timeous payment for services rendered, order stationery and re-imbursement of staff expenses by capturing Group vendor payments, procurement and staff re-imbursements by processing the amounts on the relevant system.
  • Manage onboarding process of new employees.


  • Matric
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in banking and / or operational back-office environment in a financial institution.
  • Digital Forensic Investigation experience preferred.

Technical / Professional Knowledge:

  • Banking procedures.
  • Governance, risk and controls.
  • Relevant regulatory knowledge.
  • Relevant software and systems knowledge.
