NURSING ASSISTANT GRADE 1 – (NA 1) REF NO: CHBAH 547 (X10 POSTS)

SALARY: R134 514 per annum, (all-inclusive package)

CENTRE: Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital (CHBAH)

REQUIREMENTS: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant. Registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant and proof of current registration for 2022. No experience is required after registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant. Competencies/Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrate an elementary understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices. Perform an elementary clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards as determined by the relevant health facility. Promote quality of elementary nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice and standards as determined by the relevant health facility.

DUTIES : Assist patients with activities of daily living (physical care). Provide elementary clinical nursing care. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and selfdevelopment.
