About Us:
Join the iStore team as an eCommerce Driver and play a vital role in delivering an efficient service to our valued customers. As a leading provider of Apple products, we are committed to ensuring that each customer receives their order safely and on time, creating memorable experiences with every delivery. This person must have a valid Code A (motorcycle) licence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely Order Delivery: Deliver orders safely and on time to customer addresses, meeting daily targets set by the budget plan.
- Effective Utilisation of Picup TMS App: Utilize the Picup TMS app efficiently to execute daily orders and maintain communication with the store, especially during exceptions or to report concerns/issues.
- Customer Interaction: Ensure interactions and handovers with customers are orderly, polite, and effective, maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Issue Escalation: Promptly escalate any address issues, number issues, returns, or suspicious addresses encountered during deliveries.
- Return Timelines: Maintain responsible and swift timelines to return to the centre for the next collection, optimising delivery efficiency.
Key Performance Measurements:
- Track and report daily order numbers and complaints, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Develop and adhere to a budget plan to optimise delivery operations and resource allocation.
Processes and Procedures Compliance:
- Abide by security processes, including the designated number of parcels per dispatch, to ensure the safety of both parcels and the delivery driver.
- Follow the pick-up and drop process outlined in the TMS app, ensuring customer signatures are obtained upon delivery.
- Adhere to iStore store procedures, including opening and closing times, to maintain operational consistency.
- Communicate any operational issues, late deliveries, or adverse customer interactions immediately to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure the safety of the delivery bike at all times, adhering to night lock-up agreements.
- Maintain a presentable appearance in uniform and exhibit friendly and polite manners during delivery interactions.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic and a passion for serving iStore customers with excellence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Code A (motorcycle) license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role preferred.
- Familiarity with using delivery management apps is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
