What We Do
The Gauteng City Region Academy (GCRA) is dedicated to fostering a skilled, capable, and ethical workforce within the Gauteng City Region. We achieve this through various initiatives, including:
- Bursaries
- Internships
- Learnerships
- Skills programmes
About the Bursary Programme
The GCRA bursary programme aims to support qualifying youth, particularly those from Gauteng, who wish to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies at accredited and registered Post School Education and Training (PSET) institutions in South Africa.
Coverage:
- The bursary includes the full cost of study, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the bursary contract.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all qualifying youth, with a preference for those residing in Gauteng.
- The top 3 Grade 12 learners from all No-Fee paying, SSIP, and LSEN government schools in Gauteng are eligible for a bursary to study at recognised Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) or Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges.
