The overall purpose of this position is to lead the creation and implementation of a fully integrated internal corporate communications and employee engagement communication strategy and plan for FNB Namibia. This will be done in close consultation with both HR and SM& C

experience and qualifications

  • B Com or similar Degree in Marketing or Communication
  • 4 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy and planning, while at least 2 years of communication experience in the financial services environment will be an added advantage.

  • Design and direct the execution of an internal communications strategy and plan that keeps employees informed about HR and business strategies, objectives, plans, and initiatives.
  • Accept responsibility for the internal newsletters and that communicate employer and employee expectations.
  • Create, review and edit internal communications, including internal newsletters, articles, emails, social media communication, presentations, intranet input, videos for LCDs and other internal communication media.
  • Lead cross-business unit communications plans and manage day-to-day communications to key internal stakeholder groups;
  • Ghostwrite or edit key leader messages as necessary to ensure the consistency of messaging and branding.
  • Work closely with or within Human Resources and Corporate Communications to start, integrate and coordinate relevant internal communications.
  • Support the drive towards an internal culture of engagement and high performance through the relevant communication
