Job Description

A vacancy exists for a Credit Controller stationed at Robertville Office. The position will report to the Credit Manager Inland.

The main purpose of the position is to make sure that the debtors’ collections are done timeously.

Minimum Requirements: 

  1. Minimum Matric Certificate and preferably a recognized credit control qualification.
  2. At least 3 years’ experience and full knowledge in credit control and reconciliation is essential
  3. Sound working knowledge of the SAP system.
  4. Proficiency in MS Word, Powerpoint and especially Excel is essential
  5. Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
  6. Must have own reliable transport.
  7. No criminal record or any pending cases.

 

Key Performance Areas will include: (not totally inclusive)

  1. Performing the full credit control functions.
  2. Maintaining and managing collections in relation to the company’s Group Credit policy.
  3. Maintaining a healthy cash flow at all times.
  4. Keeping bad debts to a minimum.
  5. Ensuring that monthly collections meet the required targets.
  6. Liaise with Clients/Branch/Area Managers in order to collect outstanding debt.
  7. Assist with resolving queries received.
