Minimum Requirements
• N2 Certificate (Electrical)
• Trade Test

Experience:

• 3 Years Distribution operating and maintenance of which 2 years includes outcome 5 authorisation

Skills and Competencies
• Single Phase Tester
• MV & LV line construction skills
• Good knowledge of Low & High Voltage up to 132kV
• PrDP
•        Coaching skills, Appropriate drivers licence & Outcome 5 authorisation

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain by performs planned maintenance on networks, up to and including 33kv in accordance with policies, directives, procedures, standards, work practices, guidelines and service agreements.
• Repair by responds to call outs form the dispatcher during abnormal conditions and power supply interruptions on a 24 hours basis to minimise customer outages.
• Build by creates assets on networks up to and including 33kv in accordance with polices, directives, procedures, standards, work practices, guidelines and service agreements
• Health and Safety by ensures a safe working environment and eliminate unsafe acts complying to statutory and Eskom requirements
• Perform Operating and Driving

•Training by provides on job training to Technical Officials, and staff in training
• Customer service by provides a one stop technical service to customers
