Requirements :

  • Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification. A degree or Diploma in data Management will be an advantage. Exposure in data management environment will be an added advantage. Must be able to read and write. Good interpersonal relations, communication skills, Supervision and control of subordinates, Team player, working under pressure, meeting deadlines. Knowledge of Professional Writing Skills. Computer literacy.

Duties :

  • Perform routine tasks related to PAIA and Records Management. Facilitate the awareness sessions for PAIA/PAJA/POPIA in the Department and Health Facilities, Ensure the availability of request forms in all entry points for the public to access them, Availability of statistics with a number of requests received, refused and granted, PAIA/PAJA/POPIA request registers developed, updated and maintained daily, Request Registered and file opened by name of a requested and file per month, Responses acknowledged and sent to the requester within 14 days, Requested information, searched, retrieved and made available to the Records Manager within 7 – 14 days after the request was received, Requests dealt with adequately, committee meetings arranged effectively and minutes taken, Draft the response to the requester for DIO signature with fees according to the PAIA tariffs, Ensure that monies paid by requester are received before releasing records. Provide in PAIA/PAJA/POPIA training. Apply prescribed safety and precautionary measure.
