Introduction

We are looking for a Learning Experience Specialist to work in the Learning Solutions team within the Clicks Retailers Learning & Development Department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Learning Solutions Manager.

Job description

 

Main Purpose
To drive the development of Digital Solutions and services in response to client needs, aligned to Group standards, in order to enable the organisation to achieve its objectives
Job Objectives
  • To Consult with subject matter experts (SMEs), course designers, managers, and other stakeholders to develop end-to-end, online and digital programme offerings based on business needs
  • To present and make recommendations regarding course design, technology, and instruction  delivery options, where technology is used to deliver a programme
  • To develop training material and digital content in line with the identified business needs, utilising appropriate methodology, adult learning principles and learning experience design principles.
  • To implement pilot training programmes, including the evaluation and updating thereof, to ensure programme quality and relevance to business prior to final rollout
  • To review and update specific training material, to evaluate alignment to Group Policy and Standards and for relevance to Business needs
  • To work with management in the development of standards and procedures for digital learning design
  • To implement administrative and quality assurance requirements to support the management of training programmes
  • To provide continuous input to enhance hybrid, blended and online offerings and make recommendations regarding course design, technology, and instruction delivery options, where technology is used to deliver a programme
  • To manage personal development in order to ensure capacity and capability to deliver on job objectives

3 year tertiary qualification, diploma or degree (BA, B.com, in communication, languages, HR Development or ODETDP)
