Purpose Statement

  • To provide generalist support across the HR value chain to internal clients in line with internal policies, operating procedures, and legislative guidelines.
  • Validation of HR transactions, maintenance of records and provision of advice on HR practices within set targets and SLAs for effective service delivery, team effectiveness and a positive employee experience

Experience

Minimum:

  • 1yr exposure to HR practices and processes within an environment with a strong customer centric approach, service delivery, attention to detail, accuracy and a methodical approach to problem solving

Ideal:

  • 3 years work experience within a HR department or environment
  • Experience on working on a HR system within a client centric environment would be advantageous
  • Optimisation, implementation and maintenance of formal policies/procedures/flows/documentation and processes, preferably within an HR environment
  • Experience of proactive identification and actioning of requirements

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • A relevant tertiary qualification

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

  • A relevant degree

Knowledge

Minimum:

  • Knowledge of fundamental and general human resource constructs and processes and procedures
  • Understanding of the basic client service and or client support centre skills and knowledge and client service principles.
  • General office systems and procedures and business practices

Ideal:

  • Capitec HR policies
  • Knowledge of employment legislation (BCEA, EE etc) and its application
  • Client management and information systems (SAP Success Factors system)
  • Process improvement practices and adapting to change
  • Advanced Excel (pivots, look-ups) computer literacy
