Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a Financial Administrator at Financial Shared Services Division in BryanstonJohannesburg.  The purpose of the role is to ensure the timeous preparation of intercompany charge out invoicing, purchase orders and follow up of general administrative duties. Assisting the General ledger team in gathering and analysing information.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Manage purchase order process for Finance
    • Manage Opex Workflows and SAP requisitions for orders
    • Align with budgeted plan and forecasts
    • Track intercompany billing
    • Prepare intercompany purchase orders and ad hoc purchase orders requested (backup to Celine)


  • Supplier Management
    • Ensure Invoices are received and receipted in SAP timeously
    • Follow up on scheduled invoices not received
    • Query discrepancies with supplier and management
    • Intercompany charge out and management fee recovery invoicing and preparation of journals:
    • Ensuring that recoveries charges balances to the budgeted charges
    • Prepare invoicing on request from international to the subsidiaries


  • Fleet administration
    • Request quotes from Dealers for acquisitions and disposals of vehicles
    • Consistent follow up on asset workflows (acquisitions and Disposals of vehicles) and ensuring completeness of such workflows.
    • Applications for Fleet cards from Standard bank
    • Applications for the installation and de installation of C-Track units
    • Updating of Vehicle Master file –ensure that asset register and master file match


  • General ledger Function and Community Investment Trust
    • Assist General Ledger department in adhoc bookeeping functions
    • NBL Overseas Travel expense analysis for Tax purposes.
    • NBL Various Expense analysis
    • Preparation of Trust journal and general bookkeeping of Trust, keeping in close contact with Trust administrator (Thabile Xulu)


  • Ad hoc reporting
    • Submission of ad hoc reports to Shared Service Executives and Financial Manager when requested


  • Ad hoc queries
    • Addressing of ad hoc queries from management and other staff members
    • Resolving ad hoc issues relating to role
    • Perform and conduct service delivery feedback with key stakeholders
