Our Platinum business mines, processes and refines the entire range of platinum group metals (PGMs): platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, and iridium together with gold and the base metals (BMs): nickel, copper, and cobalt.
We’re looking for a Patrolperson who shares our values and our belief in a better future for mining.
Some of your duties will include:
- Conduct allocated patrols or checkpoint duties
- Patrol on foot or vehicle as applicable
- Gather information that could support risk management
- Respond to alarms and take appropriate action
- Monitor performance and enforce access controls
- Identify and report all irregularities
- Maintains facilities, equipment and personal image up to a high standard of presentation
- Participate in required meetings including safety, health, the environment in initiatives
- Accurately complete role administration requirements
- Gathers information through cultivating sources
- To arrest all transgressors within the law
- Attend disciplinary enquiries as a witness/complainant
You will also need:
- Psychometric Assessment for firearm users
- No criminal record
- Pass polygraph test
