As part of this team, you will be responsible for specifying the requirements for completing approved work, and to ensure that the required resources are identified prior to commencement of work to enable the right delivery of work safely and efficiently Data administration – preparing reports, processing reports, receipt of correct data sheets, capturing data onto the system.
Your duties are as follows:
- Planning set-up – Create or complete the required planning template, encourage contribution of planning details from those expected to do the work and incorporate crew input into planning packages, identify and escalate all critical issues
- Specification of work/tasks – Accurate list of tasks with a description of the method and desired outcomes, planned work prioritized accordingly, approved work orders are planned
- Specify scheduling detail
- Specify record keeping
- Analyse and improve planning
This position is in the Engineering department at a C5 level, reporting into the Section Manager.
- Grade12/N3 (Technical Matric)
- N4
- Trade Test Certificate
- Planner Level1&2 SAP courses – advantageous

- Relevant Planning experience
