REQUIREMENTS : A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. No experience required. Core Competencies: Financial Management. Process Competencies: Service Delivery and Innovation, Client Orientation and Customer Focus, Communication (verbal & Written), Computer literacy. Technical competencies: Knowledge and understanding of: Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, Division of Revenue Act, Basic Accounting Systems, General Ledger reconciliation and analysis, Debtor control and creditor payments.

DUTIES : The successful candidate will perform the following duties: Compile monthly forecasts. Assist in compiling financial statements. Assist in the budget process. Assist in petty cash management. Assist in compiling monthly management accounts, assist in compiling MTEF and ENE, and assist in compiling quarterly reports. Assist in resolving audit queries relating to the section. Perform filing. Liaise with Treasury and Auditor- General. Issuing and reconcile petty cash. Compile budget vs actual expenditure report. Co-ordinate budget process. Perform filing. Perfom adhoc tasks in the management accounting section.
